The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, is coming on an official visit to Sarajevo tomorrow and will bring a certain amount of vaccines that Serbia will donate to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
According to the information that journalists got, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia, Zlatibor Loncar, will be together with Vucic in the delegation. They should meet with all three members of the Presidency of BiH.
For now, it is not known exactly how many vaccines will be donated today, but it is assumed that it is a donation of 5.000 doses that were promised to the Federation of BiH (FBiH), but also another part for the Republika Srpska (RS).
A few days ago, the FBiH government accepted the offered help of Serbia in the fight against coronavirus, meaning five thousand AstraZeneca vaccines. Serbia previously donated 5.000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to RS, Klix.ba writes.
To recall, at the recent meeting, the Presidency of BiH, entity prime ministers, and the chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija expressed gratitude to the Republic of Serbia, which will donate five thousand vaccines intended for the FBiH through the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Vucic will stay in the capital city of BiH during the day, considering that he planned to return to Belgrade later in the afternoon.
