A hearing at which a decision is being made on the proposal by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton for the ordering of custody and restrictive measures for the arrested ones in the international police action Justice is ongoing in the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo.
Acting prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton proposed the ordering of one-month custody for suspects in the action Justice: Alija Delimustafić, Jusuf Škriljelj, Lejla Cerić, Suada Hadžić and Samira Skorupan.
Spokeswoman of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton Azra Bavčić said that they proposed the ordering of custody and warrant issuance for Lejla Fazlagić, Zoran Lončar and Mirsad Delimustafić, because they are on the run.
Bavčić confirmed that after the hearing the court will reach a decision on custody and restrictive measures for the arrested ones within 24 hours.
Restrictive measures were proposed for eight suspects: Edina Mutevelić, Emir Karača, Pero Vuković, Hajrudin Omerbegović, Muhamed Hadžiomerović, Kemo Kapur, Edin Banović and Muamer Pita, while Nihad Druškić will be released.
The action Justice is being implemented in coordination with the Department for prevention of corruption and organized crime in Croatia (USKOK), the Department for organized and severe crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of BiH, and the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
