More than 8.000 signatures have been collected from the online petition for inclusion of B&H in the Erasmus program, organized by the nongovernmental organization Democratic Youth Movement.
“We will submit the petition today to the B&H Council of Ministers and to the Ministry of Education and Culture of RS, and in case they do not support it, we will send the petition to OHR”, said the President of Democratic Youth Movement Ernad Deni Čomaga for Agency Fena.
Although the government of RS approved yesterday participation in the “Erasmus+” program, the informal young group of people will not postpone the announced demonstration on Saturday in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Mostar and Bihać.
“We do not give up on demonstrations because we think the promises of the Minister of Education and Culture of RS Goran Mutabdžija are based on political platitudes”, said one the organizer of the demonstrations Samir Beharić for Fena.
He highlighted that students will protest despite catastrophic student standards and they also want the implementation of the Bologna system in accordance with European standards.
All citizens are invited to participate in the demonstrations, because even they are directly affected by the disastrous attitude of politicians towards the population.
