Kid’s Festival, the largest celebration of children and youth in B&H and the region, has secured the prestigious sponsorship of the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO). Adil Osmanovic, Minister of Civil Affairs of B&H, was informed in writing of this decision by Irina Bokova, the Secretary General of UNESCO on Tuesday, 9th June.
“Allow me to congratulate the organizers of this highly appreciated initiative that offers an opportunity for promotion in respect of cultural diversity, and is strengthening the spirit of mutual understanding among children and youth, who are the source of creative energy and significant sharers of peace. With great pleasure, I approve the sponsorship of UNESCO to the platform of KID’S Festival“.
“KID’S Festival has become an international festival platform. So far, Tunisia has hosted two KID’S Fests during which thousands of children sent the message of peace, solidarity and tolerance to the world. On 28th June this year, we will realize the first edition of the KidsFest in Sofia, in the premises of one of the biggest film studios in this part of Europe.. The sponsorship of UNESCO, comes as an official confirmation of our efforts to connect history and the future by pointing out the undeniable fact that children are the most important creators of world heritage“, emphasized Susanne Prahl, the director of Kid’s Festival. The
12th Kid’s Festival will be held from 12th to 16th June in Sarajevo under the motto: “The future I want“. The hosting of the 12th Kid’s Festival has been provided by: Raiffeisen Bank, USAID and Volkswagen.
