A 19-year-old man from Tuzla Kajs Hadžić won an award at the competition for innovation “Innovationspreises 2016 der Egger-Getränkegruppe” in Vienna- Austria.
At this competition organized by the Austrian beverage concern “Radlberger Getränke GmbH & Co OG/Privatbrauerei Fritz Egger GmbH & Co KG”, Hadžić won the second place with his concept.
“Conditions were precise. The innovation had to refer to one of the following aspects: innovative packaging, new form of sweetening, or new flavor. It had to be feasible and viable, must not violate human rights, and it had to be morally right,” said Hadžić.
He presented his idea to the organizers of this competition and soon he received a positive answer, words of praise, and a recommendation to deliver his project.
“This was followed by two or three weeks of work. First there was writing of the concepts, development of the idea, expansion, counseling with relevant persons in the field (beverage distributors, fitness industry experts – because the idea was inspired and rooted in fitness industry). First stages were relatively simple, the rough text was completed, then some details were arranged. The concept itself (called Hydration Plus+) suggested an innovative scaling of the packaging. I cannot discuss anything further, because of the protection of my idea and orders issued by the company,” Kajs said.
Hadžić’s idea won the second place. Official award ceremony will be held in Vienna on October 6, and that will be an opportunity to get more information about the winning projects.
Kajs Hadžić was born in Tuzla. He graduated from the University of Tuzla, Faculty of Technology – Department of Food Technology, and after that he embarked on the achievement of his next goal – studying nutrition in Vienna.
