Works at the starting station of the Sarajevan symbol of the Trebevic cable car are in full swing. After workers cleared the location of the future object in late June, machines are working to excavate the foundations.
Despite the heat, workers are machines are at the construction site and working at full steam.
The Government of the Canton of Sarajevo appointed the Institute for Construction of CS as the supervisory organ, while the contractor is Dzekos. The agreed upon deadline for the completion of all works is 150 days.
The cable will be built on the old, pre-war path, will have 12 pillars and a starting and ending stations. The plan calls for the cable to have 40 cars, while it will take eight minutes to get from the city to Trebevic. The project will cost nearly 15 million BAM.
