Players from five best leagues in Europe (Premiership, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1) with at least 20 performances in the league this year were considered.
On the first place is Leo Messi, just like last year, and this year he has 8.3205 of possible 10 points. The second is his teammate from Barcelona Neymar (8.19), third is the player of Real Madrid Gareth Bale (8.0922), while Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is fourth with 8.0523 points. On the fifth place is the midfielder of Manchester United Paul Pogba (7.9994).
The BiH national team player and midfielder of Juventus Miralem Pjanić (7.5303 points) is 70th according to The Guardian, but WhoScored placed him on the high 29th place, before players such as Gonzalo Higuain, Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski, Luka Modrić…
Striker of Roma Edin Džeko (7.3766 points) is 56th according to WhoScored, while The Guardian did not even include him on the list of 100 best players in the world. Behind Džeko is Antoine Griezman, who is 58th.
