The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the invitation of President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe addressed to the Chairman to participate in the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which will be held in Strasbourg, on 26 June on the occasion of taking over chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
The BiH Presidency issued a decision on the appointment of representatives of BiH in international financial institutions – the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The Presidency approved the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in the field of diplomatic training and in the field of information technologies.
The Presidency also adopted the decisions to accept the Framework Agreement between BiH and the European Commission on the arrangements for implementing the financial assistance of the EU to Bosnia and Herzegovina under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II) and the Agreement on mediation between the Council of Ministers and the Japan International Cooperation System (JICS) for procurement services under Japanese non-project assistance in the form of a grant for the purchase of Japanese vehicles of the new generation (2014).
The BiH Presidency accepted the Agreement on mediation between the Council of Ministers and the JICS for procurement services under the Japanese non-project assistance in the form of a grant for the purchase of products from Japanese small and medium enterprises.
The BiH Presidency appointed Major Sibel Slišković as Chief of part of the contingent of the Armed Forces in the Operation Resolute Support in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Additionally, the Presidency took note of the Information on possible additional engagement of the BiH Armed Forces in multidimensional integrated stabilization mission MINUSMA in Mali. The BiH Presidency gave its approval for launching legal proceedings on the assessment of possibilities and necessity of engaging the Armed Forces in the mission in Mali with a team of up to 16 members for the destruction of unexploded ordnance.
It has obliged the Council of Ministers to submit to the Presidency the assessment of justification for participation of this team.
