Director of Federal Administration for Civil Protection (FACP), Fahrudin Solak, and Assistant of Minister of Security of BiH for protection and rescue, Samir Agic, visited the team of BiH, particularly the team of FACP, which is engaged on eliminating the consequences of the recent devastating floods in Skopje.
The aim was to visit the team of FACP, as well as the affected areas of the city of Skopje, and they also brought additional five desiccants as help to vulnerable population. Director Fahrudin Solak and Samir Agic met with Jasmin Gagula, Counselor in the Embassy of BiH to Macedonia, and the director and deputy director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue of the Republic of Macedonia with whom they exchanged experiences acquired during and after the floods in BiH and Macedonia, and agreed future cooperation in accordance with the signed Agreement on protection of natural and other disasters.
After implemented mission of elimination of the consequences of the recent devastating floods that hit the area of Skopje and its environment, the team of FACP, which is consisted of 10 members of the FACP with high-pressure water pumps and other equipment and the four firefighters from the Civil Protection of Canton Sarajevo with two fire trucks, will return to BiH on the 21st of August 2016.
