The BiH basketball coach Vedran Bosnić became the champion of Sweden with Sodertalje for the fourth consecutive time.
Sodertalje Kings dominated in the final of the Swedish championships, where they won all four matches against Norkopping and deserved to become champions.
The MVP of finals and the best shooter of the Final Four was Skyler Bowlin, who entered the team to help Bosnić and the company to keep the title.
“This is why I decided to come to Sedertalje. When I arrived, the coach told me we will be working hard, that I will develop and progress and that we will be champions. That was our goal, and achieving that goal is unbelievable. The feeling I have as an athlete is impossible to describe. I am proud of the entire team,” Bowlin said.
Coach Vedran Bosnić did not hide great satisfaction with the new title either.
“This is a club with excellent leadership, from the directors to the assistant coaches. We won four golden medals, it is incredible. We have been working very hard and developed together, and now we are champions. There are no words to describe this. The players are exhausted after a tough season, which was very long. We won the title with patience and the timing of shape,” Bosnić said.
Bosnić’s work is highly appreciated in Sweden and he recently became the coach of the national basketball team of this country. In the qualifications for the European Championships which are to be held in 2017, the Swedes will play in the Group C with Russia and BiH.
