The player of the football national team of B&H Vedad Ibisevic signed a contract with the German FC Hertha.
After reporting about the offers of several clubs, among which was also the Greek AEK, the German media published information that now already the former player of Stuttgart is the new acquisition of the club from Berlin.
The information was confirmed by Ibisevic himself, when he published a photo next to the club logo with the message “I am a Berliner”.
It is still not known for how long he will be under the contract or what the conditions of the transition are. The 31-year-old football player was under contract with Stuttgart until 2017, and in the past season he played 14 matches and did not score a single goal.
The sports director of Ibisevic’s former club Robin Dutt said that they were jointly looking for a solution that would be in favor of both the club and the players, and praised Ibisevic’s professionalism on the field and out of the field, regardless of the fact that he was going through a tough period.
When leaving, Vedo pointed out that he had spent beautiful years in Stuttgart, although the expected results were not always achieved. .
“In the end, we all agreed that a change is the right decision for everyone. I wish a lot of luck and a successful season to the fans of VfB Stuttgart”, said Ibisevic.
