Amel Tuka continued with great form and justified the role of favorite at the 75th Balkan Championship which was held in Pitesti (Romania), where he was first in the race at 800 meters.
Three days ago, Tuka celebrated at the athletics meeting in Madrid in a very exciting race at 800 meters, when in the photo finish he won against Gakeme with a time of 1: 45.23, which is a hundredth of a second better than the second placed runner.
This time, Tuka was convincing. He celebrated with a time 1: 47.69, while second place went to Moses Hajdari from Kosovo with a time of 1: 48.55. The third place went to Valentin Catalin Voicu, with a time of 1: 50.16.
Thus our brilliant runner achieved three victories in 12 days. First he celebrated in the athletics meeting in Lucerne, then he was the first at the athletics meeting in Madrid and this time he won the first place in Romania in the Balkan Championships.
