The birth house of our Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andrić at Zenjak in Travnik, which was redecorated into a memorial museum four decades ago, is currently among the top tourist destinations to visit in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“This year represents a jubilee for this memorial museum because we are marking 40 years since its foundation. There is an increased number of visitors coming from all continents and somehow most of them come from Slovenia. We receive a lot of school excursions, foreign tourists, citizens of B&H… Of course, Andrić and his literature still continues to excite interest of visitors from all around the world.” – said Enes Škrgo, the curator of the museum in Travnik.
