A project with the value of 300,000 BAM became operational on Kravica waterfall. This project includes the administrative object of PE Parkovi Ltd. Ljubuski and the public lighting of trails on the waterfall.
“The Ministry of Environment and Tourism of FBiH has always supported projects and initiatives related to Kravica Waterfall and it will continue with that support in order to preserve and use this natural jewel with the aim to connect tourist offer in Herzegovina, and thus make tourists stay longer in our country. By working together, we will ensure that tourists are satisfied, we will increase tourism revenues and protect the nature at the same time as well,” said Minister Edita Djapo.
In the past year, the Mayor of the Municipality of Ljubuski Nevenko Barbaric enabled investments of significant resources in this locality that has its own potential.
“With this event, we will mark another step in the planning and management of this pearl, not only in Herzegovina but elsewhere as well. There is a potential, we have great opportunities, and tourism is one of our opportunities and directions of development,” said Mayor Barbaric.
“Management of the locality with this extraordinary natural beauty and rareness represents a great responsibility and obligation for us, but it is also a great honor to preserve and protect this part of our country for future generations. Four years ago, we started with the desire and willingness to make a change, to make this space better and to protect it, and I hope we are on the right path,” said Markotic and added that they had unlimited support from the Municipality of Ljubuski and Mayor Nevenka Barbaric and he especially thanked Edita Djapo, Minister of Environment and Tourism of the FBiH.
