The first School of integrity will be opened tomorrow in Travnik, in the organization of the Transparency International B&H which was designed as an intensive two day course in the form of lectures on topics: Influence of the corruption to the economic development, the Rule of law and practices of good governance and the Transparency and the freedom of the access to information.
Students and young people from four BH cities (Travnik, Trebinje, Bijeljina and Bihac) will have an opportunity to meet with the anti-corruption issues through lectures of affirmed experts and practitioners, by which it will be indicated to the harmful effects of the corruption and damaging consequences it leaves out at the economic and legal order. The first School of integrity that will be held in Travnik is one of four schools that will be organized, and the next one is provided in Trebinje in the middle of October. Among lecturers are Svetlana Cenic and Srdjan Blagovacnin who will present themes related to the influence of the corruption to the economic development, i.e. the importance of the rule of law.
After the completion of lectures in all four cities, the most engaged students will once more gather at the final workshop in Banja Luka, while their essays examining the phenomena of the corruption in our country, will be published and presented i n a special equipped publication.
The School of integrity in Travnik will start to operate on 18th September at 9.00 a.m. in the premises of the University Vitez in Travnik, and students will be greeted with the introductory speech of Lejla Ibranovic, the acting executive director of the Transparency International B&H.
