The Austrian Ball, a representative event which listed Sarajevo three years ago on the list of world cities in which it is held, will take place tonight in the City Hall.
At the press conference held on Friday Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka, president of the Association “Austrian Ball in BiH” Zinaida Jamakosmanovic and one of the members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra who will perform in the music section, maestro Robert Werner, emphasized that it became a traditional unique event, initiated by former Ambassador of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina Martin Pammer.
The Mayor and President of the Association also pointed out that the goal is to achieve each year richer and more beautiful content.
The event will begin on Saturday in the evening with a red carpet in front of the City Hall.
The quests will be addressed by the mayor of Sarajevo and the current Ambassador of Austria Ulrike Hartmann.
Fanfare will announce the beginning of a musical and dance session at 21 o’clock.
Up until four o’clock the next morning will be a program in which the organizers contacted many artists from Vienna, Sarajevo and the whole region.
Over the past two years, the Austrian Ball in Sarajevo has gathered nearly 500 participants, artists from both countries.
More than 3,000 visitors enjoyed the music, dance and performances of top performers.
It is expected that this time will come to more than 200 performers and thousands of guests, Klix.ba news portal reports.
