By symbolically cutting the ribbon, the Prime Minister of the FB&H Fadil Novalic, the Chairman of the Board of Petrokemija from Kutina (CRO) Nenad Zecevic, and the Prime minister of the Tuzla Canton Bego Gutic opened the 42nd International fair of agriculture and food industry The Plum Fair in Gradacac yesterday.
The Prime Minister Novalic said he is exceptionally proud of opening the Gradacac Fair, which is the symbol of economic growth, cooperation, and prosperity.
Novalic pointed out that the Fair in Gradacac is the oldest fair in B&H and one of the oldest in the Southeastern Europe, together with the Zagreb, Belgrade and Novi Sad fairs.
“For years now, The Plum Fair has been promoting economic development, especially in agriculture, and strongly encouraging the establishment of new companies that will contribute to social development. The fair is also a place for educational meetings of producers with experts in different fields, which proote the limits of knowledge and cognition in the field of agriculture and food industry”, Novalic said.
Novalic congratulated to and thanked the organizers and the Municipality Gradacac for exceptional efforts invested every year.
During the coming four days of the Fair, about 250 exhibitors from B&H, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Pakistan, and Turkey will present their products and services.
The Fair is followed by numerous professional and scientific consultations, collective exhibitions, and presentations in the field of agricultural production.
