The company MDDI Group opened in Sarajevo on 23rd April the most modern distribution center of fresh fruits and vegetables in B&H.
The newly opened facility in Halilovići, Municipality Novi Grad, covers an area of 1300 m2 and offers a wide range of fruits and vegetables from around the world.
At the initial phase, the company MMDI Group has hired 15 people, and plans to expand their capacity and create new job opportunities in accordance with the development of business.
The symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Elmedin Konaković and Chairperson of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Novi Grad Edina Gabela.
MDDI distribution center owns the most modern equipment for the ripening of bananas and computerized chambers for storing and ripening of bananas with all accompanying equipment, chamber for controlling the atmosphere for a good quality preservation and maintenance of freshness of fruits and vegetables, space for packing based on the cooling system, office space and equipment with computerized control system.
The president of the MDDI Group Izet Rastoder said that the basic strategy of the MDDI group is working with partners, and one of their greatest successes is the establishment of cooperation and organization of a wide network of partners.
The main activity of the MDDI group is import and export of fruit and vegetables, fruit and vegetables trading, wholesale, retail, and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables; it was announced from the MDDI group.
