The Prime Minister of the FBiH, Fadil Novalic, and Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Amir Zukic attended the signing of a contract between the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and 20 units of local self-government from the FBiH, for which was allocated a total of 3,747,462.41 BAM within the project of the construction of entrepreneurial zones.
“One of the most important projects of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, the construction of entrepreneurial infrastructure, has been completed with this act. This is an important element of the development of local communities and the Government, which adopted the decision to allocate almost 4 million BAM for this purpose,” stated Minister Zukic.
Positive effects are expected in 20 municipalities and they will be reflected in the employment of 900 people and they will provide better infrastructure for entrepreneurial zones in Tesanj, Siroki Brijeg, Novi Travnik, Stolac, Donji Vakuf, Doboj-Jug, Jablanica, Gradacac, Citluk, Kiseljak, Capljina, Zavidovici, Mostar, Zepce, Bihac, Bosanski Petrovac, Kalesija, Usora, Grude and Celic.
“This is the result of joint investment, since 70 % of the funds were allocated from the budget of the FBiH and the local community invested 30 % of the funds. Since 40 municipalities applied for the project and 20 of them received funds, the FBiH should probably adopt the decision to allocate new funds,” stated Zukic.
The signed contracts will certainly contribute to a better business environment in the entrepreneurial zones in these municipalities, and they also expect new employments, as noted by mayors of the municipalities of Zepce and Donji Vakuf, Mato Zovko and Huso Susic.
Approved funds will be directed towards the construction of new and improvement of existing infrastructure (road, sewage, electricity, etc.) within the entrepreneurial zones of the FBiH, which is the precondition for economic growth and employment on the local level.
