Block 7 will be constructed as the TE-TO block and it is planned for cogeneration, which will ensure the long-term supply of heat energy from the surrounding cities of Tuzla, Lukavac and Zivinice even after blocks 3 and 4, which are providing current heating, stop working,” as explained by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry.
They also added that the construction of Block 7 will satisfy all the needs for energy, security and independence of electricity supply in our country.
“Realization of the Block 7 represents a great opportunity for the engagement of local companies, since it was established that around 10 to 30 % of the net price for the Block will be realized in BiH. Furthermore, the realization of preparatory works for which Elektroprivreda BiH is in charge as well as related works conducted by EPBiH, will be realized in cooperation with domestic companies,” as noted from the Ministry.
