The Ambassador of BiH to the Kingdom of Norway, Nedim Makarevic, presented the Summer School for Students from BiH and Norway, which represents a joint project of the University of Southeastern Norway with the University of Dzemal Bijedic and the University of Mostar, and it will be held from May 21 to June 2.

According to Ambassador Makarevic, one of the aims of his mission in Norway is the encouragement of education, i.e. joint programs between Norway and BiH. He also added that there were no special preconditions for joining this school besides the knowledge of English language.

“Our main aim is to offer education to young people in a relatively short period of time, with which they will achieve ECTS points (European Credit Transaction Systems) which are recognized at European universities,” stated Makarevic, and added that students will receive 7.5 ECTS points.

He also noted that professors Lars Petter Soltvedt and Arnt Reba will provide lessons in the field of social sciences and law in Mostar, and this summer school is suitable for students who are studying social sciences, law, political science and education.
