[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Mak Medovich is a talented actor from B&H who built his career in Hollywood, and his new project is a short film “Brothers in Arms”, which was filmed in May this year and who recently won the 3rd place on the Short Film Festival in Los Angeles.
The film “Brothers in Arms” was created in direction of Andrew Hines and tells the story of two brothers from B&H, Dino (Mak Medovich) and Almin (Dino Buzan), who moved to the United States with their father during the war.
The role of the father in the film went to our famous ex-yu actor Jack Dimic (born as Zeljko Dimic), which we know after his roles in the films “The Drop”, “In the Name of the Son” and “Echoes”.
Director Andrew Hines won the MTV Music Video Awards this year in the competition of the category #the Most Influential Music Video” with rapper Big Sean for the video “One Man Can Change The World” with Kanye West and John Legend.
“Hines told me that he is very interested in B&H and its history, and that is why he wrote this story,” said Mak.
Mak Medovich was born in 1990 in Zvornik, and he moved to Germany on the beginning of the war in B&H, where he grew up and attended school of drama arts. He moved to the United States with his family in 2001, first in Michigan and then in Los Angeles, where he was admitted to the famous drama academy L.A. School of Dramatic Arts.
He filmed his first movie the same year he moved to Los Angeles, with the famous director and producer David DeCoteau, after which he had the opportunity to play a supporting role together with actor Steven Bauer, who played in the legendary film “Scarface” with Al Pacino. He played a supporting role in the movie “Betrayal” with Oscar winner Eric Roberts.
