From the next season Football Club (FC) Krajisnik from Utica, the USA, will start competing in the American professional football league.
Namely, the management of the club decided to register the amateur club at the professional league United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), which is the fourth in the ranking of the U.S. system of competitions.
The General Manager, Rifet Begic, said the club had won everything that could be won in the previous competitions and that this step was a logical move.
“The idea was mine, it was supported by the leadership led by the young and agile president of the club, Anel Pajazetovic. We are currently in the process of forming a professional staff of our club and the crew of players who will represent our team in 2019. The idea is to gather the best football players with the BH roots in the FC Krajisnik, and to move to our final goal, the American Premier League, “ Begic added.
He emphasized that their goal was to allow talented football players from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the surrounding to join the team and work in this system of competition.
“The club was formed in 1997. The idea of establishment and formation came from Rifet Begic and Nedzad Kajtezovic. FC Krajisnik began to compete in the summer season of the amateur league in central part of the state New York in 1998, and it competes since then. Many players with the BH roots have been part of this club, “ Begic said.
