The government of United Kingdom has said that the current EU sanctions regime for Bosnia and Herzegovina remains in place as part of British legislation.
This refers to Brexit, ie the British leaving the European Union.
The British government has adopted a regulation on sanctions that is identical to the one adopted at the level of the European Union.
The aim of the document is to ensure the smooth implementation of measures against EU-listed countries.
The transitional period of the British exit from the EU ends at the end of this year. The British government states that the regulation will be applied from the moment the European regulation expires, ie from the end of this year.
