Revenues from indirect taxes in the seven months of 2019 amounted to 4 billion and 558 million BAM (284.6 million Euros) and increased by 292 million BAM (some 149 million Euros) or 6.84% compared to the same period in 2018 when they amounted to 4 billion and 266 million BAM, was announced by the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ITA BiH).
After ITA returned 882 million BAM in VAT refunds to the economy, net revenues collected in the seven months of 2019 by the state, entities and Brcko District amounted to 3 billion and 676 million BAM and are higher by 200 million BAM compared to the revenue received from the Single Account by users in the same period in 2018.
An amount of 432 million BAM has been allocated for financing state institutions in the seven months of 2019. Two billion and 57 million BAM were allocated to the Federation of BiH, one billion and 48 million BAM to the Republika Srpska, and 112 million BAM to the Brcko District.
On the basis of a special toll for construction of highways and construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 115.5 million BAM, the Republika Srpska 76.3 million BAM and Brcko District 3.9 million BAM, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
