A survey was conducted from the 8th to the 25th of March, 2016, among a representative sample of households in BiH, which means 500 respondents. It showed that BiH citizens still trust the media and religious communities the most, and that they trust politicians and political parties the least.
Compared with 2015, we can see an increase in citizens’ trust in the international community, said the Association of BH journalists.
The research data will be presented in Sarajevo by the General Secretary of the Association of BH Journalists, Borka Rudić, professor of the Faculty of Philosophy in Tuzla, Enes Osmančević, Director of Media Centre Sarajevo, Boro Kontić, and the representative of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Merima Ejubović.
As well, representative of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Tanja Topić, president of the Association of BH Journalists, Milkica Milojević, president of the Club of Banja Luka, journalist Siniša Vukelić, SDS deputy in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Davor Šešić, and professor of public opinion, Mladen Mirosavljević, will inform the public about the research and results, in Banja Luka.
The research, supported by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, has been carried out by BH Journalists since 2009, with the goal of learning about BH citizens’ opinions regarding the protection of freedom for journalists and media in BiH.
