Kuwait Airways is reintroducing the line between Kuwait City and Sarajevo from June 9th. The direct route between the two cities will be active until September 12th every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday by Airbus A320, was confirmed to Fena news agency from Sarajevo International Airport.
Kuwait Airways seasonally flew this route in 2013 and, due to the great interest of tourists from this part of the world, decided to rebuild it from this summer. Airport’s spokeswoman Sanja Bagaric said that due to the great interest of Kuwait passengers, FlyBosnia will also establish the line twice a week starting this summer.
In addition to this FlyBosnia also plans charter flights to Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia during the 2020 summer season. Starting May 25, the company will operate flights from Sarajevo to Antalya, Hurghada and Monastir for local tour operators. Flights will run until mid-October. Flybosnia also plans to introduce charter flights to Jordan and Lebanon – Bagaric said.
At the moment, it is possible to fly to 14 destinations in the winter flight from Sarajevo Airport, with that number slightly higher in summer. Currently, in the winter flight schedule from SIA can fly to: Zagreb, Vienna, Rome, London, Istanbul, Doha, Stockholm, Munich, Berlin, Dubai, Cologne, Belgrade, Budapest and Stuttgart.
