The presidents of countries in the signed the Declaration on the role of government in addressing the issue of missing persons as a result of armed conflict and human rights violations. The Declaration was signed yesterday in Mostar.
President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanovic, of Croatia Ivo Josipovic, of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic and the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic signed the Declaration which aims to highlight the primary responsibility of state authorities in resolving the issue of missing persons. In addition, the Declaration aims to emphasize the need to ensure compliance Applied mechanisms and methods with human rights standards and principles of the rule of law.
