The Federal Meteorological Institute issued a red alert for the Trebinje area, while an orange meteoalert was issued for the area of Foca, Mostar and Livno. A yellow alert is in effect in the rest of the country.
Warnings have been issued due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in the southern part of the country.
On Monday, between 40 and 60 liters of rain is expected in Herzegovina, with locally around 80 liters of precipitation per square meter, and between 20 and 40 liters in western Bosnia.
South winds of speeds between 50 and 70 are expected, up to 80 kilometers per hour locally.
Daily temperatures in BiH expected are from 9 to 15, in the south and north to 17 degrees Celsius.
Snow is expected in the mountains in the evening, Klix.ba news portal reports.
