Federal government accepted the report on the work of the task force for insight into the amount of funds allocated for costs of maintenance of official vehicles and the conduction of analysis of the rolling stock at the disposal for budget users, proposing of the model for reduction of maintenance costs, and the new approach to procurement and use of official cars.
The government gave consent for the procurement of software for the control of use of official cars and tasked the Ministry of Finance of FBiH with proposing allocation from the current reserve within the available budget means or making a rebalance of Budget for 2016.
Moreover, the task of this Ministry is to prepare the necessary acts for the implementation of the procedure of procurement of software upon the provision of the funds.
Office for Joint Affairs of Bodies of FBIH is tasked to, based on electronic data analysis, make periodical reports on the condition of the rolling stock and when necessary report to the Government of FBiH and propose amendments to the Decree on the use of official vehicles and prescribe criteria for the procurement of public vehicles through operational and financial leasing.
Monitoring the activity of drivers through app and the NFC device can reduce the vehicle movement by up to 20 percent, which is evidenced by the experience of the Federal Administration for Inspection Issues. Taking into consideration the fuel consumption of 1.4 million BAM, only in this way the annual savings would amount to over 200.000 BAM in fuel. Also added would be the savings generated from reduced need for servicing and reduced amortization costs.
