The President of the Social Democratic Party of B&H (SDP) Nermin Nikšić hosted the High Representative to B&H Valentin Inzko and the topic of the yesterday’s meeting was the consideration of the current political situation in our country.
At the meeting, Nikšić assessed that the current political situation in our country is unfavorable, since it is obvious that the ruling parties do not have enough capacities to meet all the pre-elective promises and continue with the reform processes important for our country.
It was emphasized that SDP will, in its opposition activities and with all capacities at disposal, continue to criticize all the moves of the ruling coalition, which are not for the interest of the citizens.
It was once again emphasized at the meeting that SDP gives full support to the British-German initiative and the reform processes in B&H, which should begin as soon as possible, in order for our country to find a way to the European integrations as quickly as possible.
At the same time, it was assessed that the Reform agenda, signed by the Council of Ministers of B&H and the Government of FB&H, should be presented to the citizens as soon as possible, so they as well could have the insight in what the representatives of the government pledged.
The initiative of SDP on Amendments to the Election Law of B&H, which would allow the introduction of early elections, was also presented to the High Representative.
The President Nikšić informed the High Representative on the processes within SDP B&H and the conduction of the inter-party elections according to the one member-one vote principle, which made SDP the first party in B&H which conducted the inter-party elections for the presidents of the local organizations in this way and to this extent.
