Manchester – The manager of Manchester City Manuel Pellegrini confirmed Edin Džeko’s stay in the club and said that he is very important for the team.
Džeko allegedly should have left but he remains because he scored numerous goals – according to B92.
“Džeko is a very important player for us. He played a great season from the beginning to the end. We expect a lot from him in the future.” – said Pellegrini.
The two sides are currently negotiating about a new contract for the best shooter in the history of B&H.
Manchester City already extended contracts with two players who have been at Etihad for a couple of years already, Aleksandar Kolarov and Samir Nasri.
