muzej001International event ‘Night of Museums’ will be marked tomorrow in Banja Luka as well, reports Fena.

Museum of RS and RS Museum of Contemporary Arts will organise the event for the eighth time.

This year’s theme of the International Day of Museums is ‘Museums (memory+creativity) = social changes’ and it symbolizes the historical heritage that museums keep and the need to transform the society.

In Museum  of RS a program called ‘Traditional in contemporary’ will be held and visitors will have the opportunity to see all exhibits of the museum, among them the latest called ‘Shirts- Collection of Women’s Shirts from late 19th to mid 20th century’

The program will start at 6 p.m.

At 9 p.m. in RS Museum of Contemporary Arts there will be an exhibition called ‘I can be very patient’, as well as the concert in the plaza in front of the museum.

International Day of Museums is being marked since 1977 in order to draw the attention on the importance of museums and their role in the development of society.
