Bosnia and Herzegovina’s representative and captain Mirza Teletovic is the new president of the Basketball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Teletovic was unanimously elected to the top position in Basketball Association of BiH (KSBiH) at an extraordinary session held on Saturday.
Also, it was decided that the Vice Presidents of the KSBiH Steering Committee will be Dalibor Milos and Boris Spasojevic.
“As I am fighting while playing basketball, I will fight for KSBiH to function properly. I give you my promise. Once again, I thank you,” Teletovic said in his brief address.
The president of the KSBiH Assembly is Dalibor Milos, the vice presidents are Nihad Selimovic and Ognjen Mihajlovic.
New members of UOKSBiH are Aid Berbic from Tuzla and Feda Jovanovic from Zenica, Boris Spasojevic, Dana Muminovic and Milan Plavsic from Republika Srpska and Dalibor Milos, Nikica Petrovic and Vinko Batinic from KS Herceg-Bosna.
Mirza Teletović (born September 17, 1985) is a Bosnian former professional basketball player who spent six seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also represented and captained the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team. Standing at 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m), he played at the power forward position.
After a long career in the NBA and Europe, Mirza Teletovic decided to call it a day from the professional action, after facing several health issues these past years.
Teletovic, 33, spent the last few seasons in the NBA with Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets.
