A meeting between the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic and the Ambassador of Russia to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bih) Petr Ivantsov was held yesterday. At the meeting, interlocutors discussed the outstanding issues and a question of enhancement of further cooperation.

Moreover, the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the issue of the quality of liquid petroleum fuels whose regulation is important for negotiations with the Russian side on BiH’s accession to that organization, were just one of the topics.

In accordance with the protocol adopted at the session of the Intergovernmental Bosnia-Herzegovinian-Russian Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, the two countries agreed on activities to accelerate the formation of joint working groups for the enhancement of the cooperation in the fields of agriculture and energy.
For the end, Minister Sarovic accepted the invitation of the Minister of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak to take part in the International Energy Efficiency and Energy Development Forum “Russian Energy Week”, which will be held in Moscow from October 3 to October 7.
