Members of the mountain rescue services (GSS) found on Thursday evening at 9 pm, in the forest above the village of Garacici near Bugojno, the body of a missing person with the initials S.L.
As reminded by the GSS, 62 mountain rescuers from 12 GSS stations from BiH trained to perform complex search and rescue operations joined the search operation launched today for the missing court police officer, forty-six years old Senijad Lakac from Bugojno.
In addition to mountain rescuers, 25 members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Central Bosnia Canton Specialist Support Unit, police officers from the Bugojno Police Department, locals and families were also involved in the action.
The disappearance of Senijad Lakac was reported on October 27 at 5:40 p.m. Lakača was last seen yesterday at around 1 pm at the Garacici site not far from his place of residence.
The body of the missing Senijad was found at 9 p.m. At the scene, police officers conducted an investigation, after which members of the GSS Bugojno evacuated the body from a hard-to-reach area.
