Next year, the Meggle Company will build a new production plant in Bihać.
The mayor of the Municipality of Bihać, Emdžad Galijašević, presented the Meggle Director for Southeast Europe, Marjan Vučak the building permit for land on which to build.
The new factory, according to the preliminary estimates, will employ 30 new workers and its construction will start in the spring of 2015.
The investment, which will be implemented in two phases, is worth 12 million BAM.
The land is located in a business zone Ripač and covers an area of several hectares.
“The Municipality of Bihać co-financed the purchase of the land for the new Meggle factory with 90 percent share, or with somewhat more than 600,000 BAM, in accordance with the adopted decision of the Municipal Council on benefits to investors in the manufacturing sector,” said Galijašević.
“Thanks to the past experience, skillful workers and professionals, we decided for an investment worth six million BAM in the existing facility in Meggle dairy and to invest the same amount in construction of a new factory and distribution center,” said Meggle Director Marjan Vučak.
