Few days ago, British BBC published a documentary called “Bosnia: The Cradle of the Modern Jihadism“. Journalist and political analyst Mirnes Kovac gave a comment on this theme considering that this documentary is an irresponsible attempt to blame Bosnian Muslims for the arrival of the foreign warriors to B&H.
“I think that this is an attempt to make a projection to 90’s when there were no 11th September and Al Qaida, through the rearview mirror and from this time distance as well as with this political and geopolitical circumstances“, said Kovac.
When it comes to the BBC’S documentary, Kovac asks whether it is just an attempt of cleaning the conscience of the West for the situation in which we currently are.
There were foreign warriors in B&H, but it is questionable how they arrived to our country
“B&H was an internationally recognized country. It had an embargo on the import of weapons and it was illogical for it to have a control of its borders during the aggression. We hadn’t a control over the borders and no one can blame B&H and Bosnian Muslims for that because others had a control over BH borders“, said Kovac.
Kovac repeated that the fact is that foreign warriors have arrived to B&H, but their arrival is now trying to be attached to Bosnian Muslims as a a fault in order to equalize the criminal role of Serbian and Croatian aggressor units in 1990’s aggression on B&H.
“Going back to that time and putting B&H in a focus is extremely irresponsible. The man who claims that is double or triple spy. God knows how much his testimonies are relevant because British intelligence agencies refused to identify him and confirm that they worked with him in his earlier interview for BBC“, emphasized Kovac.
