Sead Kolasinac had a debut to remember in the jersey of Arsenal. He scored a goal in the Community Shield against Chelsea and raised a trophy. He said he already got used to his new team.
“It is very exciting. I have been here for a month and I have learned a lot. I met my teammates, a professional staff, and all of that was very exciting. However, I am happy that the “novelty” phase is slowly coming to an end. That makes things a lot easier,” said Kolasinac.
The representative of BiH came from Schalke as a free player, and he scored for 1: 1 against Chelsea in Community Shield in his first official appearance. Arsenal celebrated after the penalty.
He believes that he will progress more since he is surrounded by high-quality players.
“When you play with such high-quality players as my team is, you are progressing. I am happy to have the opportunity to train with such great players and to improve,” said Kolasinac.
He especially mentioned Granit Xhaka as a player who helped him the most when he arrived in London. The Swiss player sent him a message and welcomed him, but he was not the only one who helped our national player.
“A lot of players here with whom I can speak in German made things a lot easier for me. There are several players who have helped me with things like where to live and where to go out for a dinner. My team really helped me with that,” said Kolasinac.
