28 Ministers of foreign affairs of the European Union met on Monday in Brussels to discuss, among other things, ideas about revitalizing the European path of B&H, presented by the Ministers of foreign affairs of Germany and Great Britain.
We are pleased to hear that all countries members agree on making our proposition the basis of the new strategy EU has reached when it comes to B&H, as well as with the strong mandate of the new high representative Federica Mogherini who will elaborate further details while talking to the EU partners and the authorities in B&H.
All politicians in B&H told us that they agree that it is very important to quickly form authority at all levels as well as to implement a positive plan of reforms. The new EU approach will offer flexibility not only concerning content but the conditions B&H needs to fulfil in order to become a member of the EU too. We hope and believe that this will serve as a support to the fast progress of the new government and the parliament when it comes to reforms which should make a real difference in the lives of ordinary people in this country: strengthening economy, opening new work places, fighting against corruption and improving the efficiency of the governments at all levels.
By giving support to this approach, the members of the EU once again confirmed their continuous devotion to the stability and prosperity of B&H. Now it’s time for the new elected leaders to reply and to do their part of the job.
