Jelenka Voćkić-Avdagić and Una Bejtović are the winners of PRO.PR Awards

As a part of the 11th Pro.Pr Conference which will be held from 13 to 16 March in Opatija, special awards will be given to individuals and organisations which contributed to development of PR in the region of South-eastern Europe and beyond, reports FENA.

With these awards, Pro.Pr Awards, Vision City, Vision Manager and Vision Project encourage positioning the public relations as a profession.

In the category of Pro.Pr Award, which is awarded to individuals for outstanding contributions to the development and positioning of the profession, the winners from Bosnia and Herzegovina are PhD Jelenka Voćkić-Avdagić (Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo) and Una Bejtović (freelance consultant for public relations).

In the category of Pro.Pr Vision City, which is given in the conference host country whose leadership has recognized the need for systematic communications management, the winner is the City of Pula, and the most successful manager who, under criteria of Vision Manager Award, in the work of his company ,successfully implemented public relations, is Emil Tedeschi.

Project Vision Award, which is awarded to the project whose vision and mission is recognized at a high international level,went to the creator of Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world, which is located in Dubai.

Pro.Pr Awards was founded on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of conference Pro.Pr 2012 which was marked in March last year in Maribor, said the organizing committee of Pro.Pr Awards.
