Increase in the total Amount of collected Cow’s Milk in May 2018

In May of 2018 the total amount of collected cow’s milk increased by 4,1% in relation to the same period of 2017. Production of drinking milk decreased by 1,1% and cream by 1,6%, while the production of acidified milk increased by 26,2%, butter and other yellow fat products by 11,1% and cow’s cheese by 8,0% in relation with the same period of 2017.

The total amount of milk fat increased by 0,3%, while the total amount of milk protein decreased by 0,3% in relation to the same period of 2017.

The data on collected of cow’s milk and milk products obtained are the result of the aggregation of comparable data from monthly statistical surveys conducted by the two statistical offices on the Entity level and by the Bureau in Brcko District.
