Besides being popular as the Islamic lecturer who brings the faith closer to the believers in a humorous way, Hafiz Husein Čajlaković is engaged in humanitarian work as well.
In an interview, he revealed that he and his friends are helping in the construction of the third home. Recently, they handed valuable packages of food that were provided by Čajlaković’s friends from the diaspora, to ten Bosniak families, returnees in eastern Bosnia.
“I have a lot of friends, and I travel a lot as well, and some people, when they want to give part of their wealth, they give their money to me, which I pass to where it is needed the most,” said Čajlaković.
“I don’t do anything officially, formally, everything happens spontaneously, on the go”, explains Čajlaković, adding that he has one envelope in which he puts the money collected for the vulnerable ones. Sometimes, says Čajlaković, the envelope is full, sometimes there is only some money and often it is completely empty.
Hafiz Čajlaković explains that giving charity to help the others is very important, even more important to those who are giving than those who need it and take it. And, he is sure, giving charity to help the others cannot decrease the wealth of those who are giving. On the contrary, it is increasing it.
“When you are pruning the fruit tree, it seems smaller and seems to give fewer fruits. However, it does not happen. The pruned fruit trees are bigger and better than the ones that have not been pruned,” said Čajlaković.
Hafiz Čajlaković says that he has not the program by which he helps to the vulnerable ones. He helps where God sends him.
