Hollywood actor and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (80) spent three days in the capital city of BiH and Srebrenica where he was recording shots for his documentary with his film crew. Recording of the first episode of the film is successfully completed.
Freeman is recording a documentary about our country, and he wanted to show the beauty of Sarajevo and Srebrenica in the first episode. One of the main actors of the project is BH journalist Senad Hadzifejzovic, and Freeman partly wants to present BiH through his character. Therefore, Hadzifejzovic represents an important link in the first episode of Freeman’s documentary film.
The famous actor stayed in Srebrenica, and he visited Potocari Memorial Center where his film crew recorded shots for his documentary film. People said that Morgan was thrilled with what he saw and he did not remain indifferent to the story of Srebrenica genocide. They added that he left Srebrenica with a strong message.
“Morgan filmed the first episode of his documentary in Sarajevo and Srebrenica, and it is a large TV project. A total of 30 people were engaged in the shooting and everything was on the real world level of production. This is a great honor for our country and Senad Hadzifejzovic. Freeman rarely does something like this, and thus his arrival is a miracle,” said a source who is part of the organizing team from Sarajevo.
More details about the documentary and the topic of the film will be known soon. Also, the premiere will take place at one of the world’s largest TVs.
