The company Knauf Ltd., which is part of one of the largest groups for the production of plaster products for construction in the world, purchased shares inofthe company “Komar factory of plaster” Donji Vakuf.
This was published on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, and Knauf paid a total of 283,595 BAM for more than 20 % of the ownership. These shares were sold by Idriz Ucanbarlic, who was the largest shareholder.
It is yet to be seen whether this is only the first step towards the full takeover.
Knauf is an international corporation whose headquarters are placed in the city of Iphofen (Germany).
This company was established back in 1932 and now it has more than 150 production facilities all around the world. Knauf belongs to one of the world’s largest producers of plaster products.
