Aegean Airlines is planning to establish a new flight between the capital city of BiH and Greece during the summer season in 2019.
This represents a part of the company’s capacity expansion, which is aimed at increasing the number of flights towards cities of the former Yugoslavia. Multi-year expansion will be continued this year with three additional destinations, and the establishment of a seasonal line between one of the centers in Greece and the Sarajevo International Airport in 2019.
Three new flights include connection of Greece with Croatia (Zadar and Zagreb), Macedonia (Skopje), and the reason for that is a recent decision to change the name of their airport into “Aleksandar Makedonski”, which opened a door for further cooperation, as reported by ExYu Aviation.
