Saturday, the 17th of December, will be another in a series of important dates for the Tuzla Airport. Regular airline Berlin – Tuzla – Berlin will start operating on that day. This is the third regular line that Wizz Air opened this winter season. As a reminder, from the 30th of October planes are flying to London, and from the 1st of November to Billund, Denmark.
Berlin has two airports, Tegel, which records over 21 million passengers a year and Schonefeld, which is focused on low-cost airline and has about 8.5 million passengers a year. Planes from Tuzla will fly to Schonefeld, which is located east of Berlin, about 18 kilometers from its center.
It is interesting that both of these airports should be replaced by the third Brandenburg Airport, which is under construction for several years, and its location is near the airport Schonefeld.
Sale of tickets for airline to Berlin is going very well, and this line could join the already well-established airlines to Basel, Malmo, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Frankfurt Hahn and Memmingen. For the first flight on the 17th of December from Tuzla to Berlin was sold 151 tickets, from Berlin to Tuzla 152 tickets, which looking both ways, gives excellent load factor of 84.16%.
