The Collegium of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament today at the session concluded that an extraordinary session of the House will be held on August 25 to discuss the consequences of the latest flooding that hit Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Federation of BiH.
“We agreed that an extraordinary session will be held on 25 August starting at noon with only one item on the agenda: Information on the measures taken to mitigate or eliminate the consequences of the floods in affected areas. The Government of the Federation of BiH should prepare a report on this item of the agenda, or the Prime Minister,” told reporters the Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Tomislav Martinović.
The topic of today’s session of the Collegium of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament was the information on the measures taken in the flood affected areas, and the body was in session at the initiative of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jasenko Tufekčić.
The collegium has also agreed to hold another extraordinary session, whose date will be specified later on, which would focus on the state of veteran population.
