In the period January-July 2019 export amounted to 6 billion 835 million BAM, which is 1,1% lower than in the same period of 2018, and import amounted to 11 billion 524 million BAM, which is 3,7% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 59,3% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 4 billion 689 million BAM.
Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 91 million KM, which is 1,2% higher than in the same period of 2018, while import amounted to 1 billion 355 million BAM, which is 3,6% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 80,5%.
Export to EU countries amounted to 5 billion 79 million BAM, which is 0,2% higher than in the same period of 2018, while import amounted to 7 billion 170 million BAM, which is 7,9% higher than in the same period of last year.
The coverage of import by export was 70,8%.
