In the period January-April 2017, export amounted to 3 billion 403 million BAM, which is 16,5% higher than in the same period of 2016, and import amounted to 5 billion 481 million BAM, which is 10,4% higher than in the same period of last year.
The coverage of import by export was 62,1% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 2 billion 78 million BAM. Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 522 million BAM, which is 34,8% higher than in the same period of 2016, while import amounted to 683 million BAM, which is 6% higher than in the same period of last year.
The coverage of import by export was 76,3%. Export to EU countries amounted to 2 billion 458 million BAM, which is 12,5% higher than in the same period of 2016, while import amounted to 3 billion 348 million BAM, which is 9,6% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 73,4%.
